Ana-Luz’s Party Favorites
It has been a running start to this year. I have started to really dive into the planning of Farm-to-Fork programs and cooking classes we could host in the next year. It’s exciting stuff, but it’s nice to mix in some actual cooking here and there too. I hosted a tasting event as I tried out some new ideas for the 2012 menu’s. It was a fun and tasty way to experiment with some new ideas. And we do have some winners that you may see when you come up to experience Fircom this season. Roasted shallot and sesame lentil potstickers were a favorite. Can’t wait to be inspired with other new ideas!
I have hosted many parties and get-together’s at my house over the year’s and what always draws a crowd is the home-made salsa and guacamole. They never last that long and I usually end up making another batch part way through the event. And after many times having people eager to watch me make it the second time so they can re-create it, it is now here for all to see! Enjoy and I recommend having back-up supplies.
